Doreen Salek, senior director of clinical outreach and engagement, is responsible for Geneia’s clinical case and disease management programs, as well as the @HomeSM remote patient monitoring program. She has 20 years experience working in the healthcare field. She is a registered nurse and her background expands across multiple disciplines including care management and care coordination, coding operations for hospital services, clinical innovation and clinical project management, business operation health services, and population health business intelligence. She has also co-authored several healthcare and medical publications.
Doreen received her nursing license from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and her Bachelor of Science degree in human resource sciences from Colorado State University. Doreen is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration in healthcare at American Sentinel University.
Doreen is a member of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), and the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ). In her spare time, Doreen enjoys spending time with her family, pets, playing tennis, walking, hiking outdoors and watching movies.
