Shelley Riser is Geneia’s Vice President of Consulting Services and Clinical Innovations. She is responsible for clinical oversight of consumer outreach and engagement programs, playing a key role in deploying resources to support quantifiable improvement in the overall health and utilization patterns of target populations while working to achieve the Triple Aim.
Shelley has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare with expertise in behavioral health, care and service delivery, executive management, operations, population health, practice management, and program/product development.
Prior to joining Geneia, she held leadership roles in not-for profit and for-profit healthcare systems, a federally qualified health center, and national and regional consulting companies. Her work emphasized bringing together strategy and operations and improving outcomes, service delivery, and cost efficiency. She also served as adjunct faculty at Harrisburg Area Community College.
Shelley earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis. She also is a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, attending live music events, and is an avid Pitt fan.
