Healthcare Futurist Headlines November Joy of Medicine Twitter Chat
November 18, 2015
Harrisburg, PA – Geneia, a company of experienced change agents creating analytic and technology solutions to improve healthcare, today announced that Rafael Grossmann, MD, FACS - healthcare futurist, practicing surgeon, and the first physician to use Google Glass during surgery - will headline the Joy of Medicine Twitter Chat on Tuesday, November 24, 7:00 – 7:30 pm Eastern.
Earlier this year, Geneia released the Physician Misery Index, which revealed that physicians are alarmingly dissatisfied, and launched the Joy of Medicine initiative to encourage physicians and healthcare leaders to work to restore satisfaction to those practicing medicine.
Each month, Geneia hosts a Twitter chat to highlight the issue of physician dissatisfaction and ways to bring back the Joy of Medicine. During the November 24 Twitter chat, Dr. Grossmann will discuss how technology is both contributing to and helping to remedy physician misery, as well as the implications for patients.
