Minneapolis, MN – Geneia, a healthcare analytic solutions and services company that is simplifying the evolution to value-based care, announced CEO Mark A. Caron, CHCIO, FACHE is keynoting the Healthcare Informatics Minneapolis Health IT Summit, June 13-14. In his session, The Golden Thread: Data, Analytics, and Intelligence that Bind Patient and Provider, Caron will discuss how the combination of data, predictive analytics, quality performance and collaboration drive ACO and value-based care success.
“Payer provider convergence benefits the patient, the provider and the payer,” said Caron. “The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association recently announced impressive quality and cost goals for its value-based care programs, including:
- 10 percent fewer emergency department visits,
- 15 percent decline in hospitalizations,
- 7 percent better HbA1c testing for diabetics

At the heart of this success is payer provider data-sharing to more effectively coordinate, manage and monitor patient care.”
