Geneia Joins Forces with #1 CRM to Better Serve $30 Billion Value-Based Care Solutions Market

Joint solution combines the Theon® platform's cost and quality analytic capabilities with Salesforce Health Cloud

Harrisburg, PAGeneia, an analytic solutions and services company that is simplifying the evolution to value-based care, announced its new partnership with Salesforce Health Cloud to better serve the needs of health plans, hospitals, providers and employers transitioning to value-based care. The joint solution, which combines the Theon® platform’s cost and quality analytic capabilities with Salesforce Health Cloud’s workflow, member engagement and communication tools, was debuted at Dreamforce 2017. At the conference, Geneia CEO Mark Caron, FACHE, CHCIO, Chief Strategy Officer Heather Lavoie and Chief Technology Officer Fred Rahmanian presented alongside Salesforce Vice President of Health Cloud Rita Sharma.

The Theon® Platform Key Features

Available on Health Cloud, the Theon® platform drives repeatable improvements in health, quality and financial outcomes. The Theon® platform has helped customers:

  • Reduce acute inpatient hospital admissions by up to 7.2 percent
  • Lower emergency department visits by more than 8 percent and readmissions by more than 14 percent, and
  • Reduce claims costs by 2 percent

Salesforce and Geneia will collaborate on product development, go-to-market strategy and business development opportunities, and together will communicate the value and opportunity to key target audiences and market analysts. The Geneia app for Health Cloud will expand and enhance existing capabilities for health plans, providers and employers. The Theon® platform solution for population health management and member engagement is now available on Health Cloud.
